Personal Story
I never imagined I would end up in the financial services industry. As a former collegiate athlete turned special educator, and having grown up in a family of
teachers, financial struggles were familiar. I assumed that would always be my path.
Then life changed everything.
At 46, I lost my first husband unexpectedly. Our daughters were still in high school, and we were
completely unprepared. We had no life insurance, no will or trust, and no real plan in place.
We lost our home.
It didn’t have to happen that way.
In the middle of grief, I was forced to navigate overwhelming financial uncertainty while trying to
hold my family together.
That experience changed me and it became my mission.
Today, I work with my husband to help families avoid the same pain I suffered by giving them
the education, tools, and strategies they were never taught in school.
Because this isn’t just about money.
It’s about protecting the people you love.
Protection is not just a product. It is a plan.
